Lyon considering sacking Peter Bosz

RMC Sport are reporting that Lyon are considering sacking manager Peter Bosz following a poor run of form that leaves them well adrift of the Ligue 1 podium.

Lyon haven’t won in their last five league matches and have only earned one point during that time. Bosz had been given a points target to reach before the World Cup, and following Friday’s draw to Toulouse, it will now be impossible to reach those clearly defined objectives.

Following that 1-1 draw to newly-promoted Toulouse, Bosz met with Jean-Michel Aulas and Bruno Cheyrou in a meeting that lasted just under 30 minutes. Whilst the exact content of that meeting is yet to be revealed, RMC believe that the Dutchman’s potential departure was the topic of conversation.

According to RMC, Lyon are considering sacking Bosz at the next interntaional break (the World Cup in mid-November), or earlier if the right opportuinty arises. Internally, there are certain actors at Lyon who are pushing for the arrival of Laurent Blanc, whilst Rémi Garde and David Bettoni are also considered as potential options for Les Gones.
